The latest update of the National Retirement Risk Index (NRRI) shows that over half of households may be unable to maintain their standard of living in retirement. Thanks to the 550 members who responded to our recent survey on Medicare. This article reports on the findings: which Parts you use, as well as your likes and dislikes. We were especially interested to learn how you rated various ideas on how to fix Medicare for future generations - you had some very clear favorites, and some you really don't like! Out in eastern Washington near the Idaho border, Spokane makes an interesting retirement choice. It has 75 parks, is near 76 lakes, and has 2 universities. The climate is dry and the mountains aren't that far away. Plus, there are a lot of active communities if that interests you.
